I love reading all those DeviantART stories! So now it's time to write one myself!

My story starts 2 years and something like a month ago. I was fourteen back then, I don't remember how I found out about DeviantART, I think it was just a result google gave me for something I searched on. Oh, and I'm SO grateful for the fact that Google gave a DeviantART page as a search result! I kinda "fell in love" with this website and the community immidiately. A few days after I had discoverd Deviantart, I decided to become a member of this fantastic art website. And that's when my dA story really started.

In the beginning, I mostly uploaded Donald Duck drawings (I don't really draw Donald Duck anymore now). I remember that after I uploaded my first deviation, someone commented on it within an hour or so. I was so incredibly happy with that first (really positive) comment. I felt like dancing.

I started watching deviants, deviants started to watch me, I gave deviants llamas, deviants gave me llamas, I faved deviations, deviants faved some of my own deviations, I commented on deviations, deviants commented on a deviation of mine... that's how I became more and more part of this community. Everyone is so kind around here!

After some time, on september the 6th 2012, I decided to make a Group, DisneyArtTraders , a group for sharing Disney art and finding people to do an art trade with. The group is still growing, from 1 member on 6-9-2012 up to 368 members today, at this very moment. I want to thank all members of the group for making this Disney group a nice and active group. :thanks:

I became a co-founder of the group MerlinandFantasy a few months after I made my own group, I just like groups so much! I left this group some months ago.

I have been a contributor of :iconchloeclik:'s group SprinkleOfSmiles for some months now, which I really like being. It's a group to share all kind of art that puts a smile on your face, so if you have happy art or like the take a look at smile-worthy art, you should take a look at this group for sure!

Thanks to dA, I also met lots of super kind people who love art just as much as I do! :happybounce: The best people that I came in touch with here are:

ChloeClik
A great photographer with a fantastic feeling for detail and atmosphere. She also loves drawing, which she is really good at. I hope you can become a child's book illustrator one day, Chloe! If you love cats, you should take a look at her gallery for sure, there are lots of photos from her and her sisters cute cats, Arran and Skye! :meow:

MerlinLemon
Don't know a book to read? Just take a look at her gallery and you'll find one within minutes! She's has been uploading book reviews and recommodations for quite some time. She's so kind and you can talk with her about books for hours. :D She's really good at writing, and wants to become a writer. I really hope your dream will come true, Lemmie!

MorgainePendragon
Just like me, ChloeClik and MerlinLemon a Merlin fan! She loves drawing portraits, and is so good at it! Her Arthur/Bradley portraits are my favourite. She's also seen some Merlin actors and actresses in real-life in Pierrefonds, while they were filming season 5 of Merlin. She has lots of photos of them in her gallery. I quite fave-bombed her when she uploaded all those photos. :giggle:

I want to thank Deviantart for helping me getting better and better at art throughout the past 2 years. I feel like I wouldn't be exactly the same person as I am now, if I hadn't found this art community. I hope I'll still be an active member when dA celebrates its 25th or 30th....or 35th.....0r 40th....or even 50th birthday! :happybounce:

Awwww thanks so much for featuring my work here and as one the best people you met on here, it means so much :tighthug: You are definitely one of those people too :la: Love all the art and am so happy you joined DA too, I found it in the same way as you and was that happy when someone commented on a photo. I found my embarrassing reply to the first comment and it said something along the lines of "hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, thank you" :giggle: Awkward  Anyway I'm really happy you joined so we could meet and become such good friends  :glomp: :la:
